AI-Powered Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Overview
An AI-powered Applicant Tracking System designed to streamline the initial recruitment process, from collecting applications and processing CVs to screening candidates and tracking application status.
The system combines n8n workflow automation with Google Gemini to evaluate CVs against job descriptions, generate match scores, highlight candidate strengths and missing requirements, and recommend suitable next steps. Application details and screening results are organised in Google Sheets, giving recruiters a central place to review candidates and manage the screening process with less manual effort.
The problem
Reviewing CVs can be time-consuming, especially when recruiters receive applications from many candidates. Each application needs to be checked against the job requirements, relevant qualifications identified, and a decision made about whether the candidate should progress.
Managing these tasks manually can slow down recruitment and make it harder to keep track of applications.
The solution
I developed an automated recruitment workflow that collects candidate applications, processes uploaded CVs, and uses AI to assess each candidate against the job description.
The system generates a match score, highlights relevant strengths and missing requirements, and recommends whether the application should move forward, require further review, or be rejected.
Screening results are recorded in Google Sheets, giving recruiters a central place to review candidates and track their application status. The workflow also supports automated candidate communication, reducing the need for repetitive follow-ups.
